Chris Young
Owner, Creative Director, Chief Networker, Coffee Maker… you get the picture. Chris started C7 in 2006 after 13 years in ad agencies and design studios in Cape Town, London and Auckland respectively. He has worked on many notable accounts such as Woolworths, Sainsburys, BBC, NEC, Southern Cross, Westpac, TSB Bank, and Honda amongst others.
Chris is positive, enthusiastic and deeply passionate about great design, sustainability and business (not to mention great coffee). He is increasingly active in the area of social media and also blogs about business and design. Chris is a family man, cyclist and is actively engaged in church life.
Kristin Wastney
Kristin is C7′s ace designer. She joined us from Clemengers in Wellington, where she worked on accounts like Meridian Energy and Victoria University. Prior to that she worked for Catch on web design projects for Victoria Uni, Unitec and Elim amongst others. Kristin’s easy going nature belies her amazing capacity to create designs that often surpass our clients’ expectations.
Chris and Kristin are members of the Designers Institute of New Zealand.
Tineke Smith
Tineke worked with C7 in 2008 on the successful Taranaki RWC2011 pitch and also did the branding for Belly Activ. We are really please to have her back on board; part-time for the moment, but sure to become full-time within the not-too-distant future.
